Trolley Night July 26: Includes special events at venues around the city

MANCHESTER, NH – These popular (and free) Trolley Nights are organized each year to celebrate the amazing diversity of artistic expression and dynamic museum experiences that the city of Manchester has to offer. One trolley will circulate the route between the hours of 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. The trolleys start at the Commercial Street Entrance to the Millyard Musem at 5:00 p.m., but you can hop on and off at any designated stop.

Most venues are within walking distance of each other, and you are also welcome to drive, bike, or walk the route at any time.

2018 Manchester Trolley Nights Venues

During the city’s July 26 Trolley Night, the Manchester City Library, 405 Pine St., will offer visitors some special options:

  • Take a self-guided tour of the Italian Renaissance style building. The Carpenter Memorial Building took two years to build and has had recent renovations.
  • Meet local authors Dan Szczesny, Martha Wyatt, Terry Farish, Ellen Alden, and John Tuohey, who will share their creations in the library’s Rotunda.
  • See the “creatures” on the library’s lawn at 6 p.m. as part of the library’s Summer Family Fare program.library

The library will be open until 8:30 p.m.

One trolley will circulate this route between the hours of 5 and 8 p.m., stopping at each designated stop. The Trolley will begin at 5 p.m. at the Commercial Street Entrance to the Millyard Museum. It will make the full loop approximately every 30 minutes.

You may get on and off the free trolley as you wish and stop at the places you wish to see. All of the trolley stops are open free to the public on trolley night and most have special events and promotions planned specifically for the trolley night.
