MERRIMACK, NH – The New Hampshire Primary is history, but the ‘Selfie Sisters’ live on, after an appearance via Skype on ABC’s “Good Morning America,” Feb. 18.
Addy and Emma Nozell have made a name for themselves by snapping selfies with every presidential candidate at campaign stops along the New Hampshire campaign trail.
They explained to GMA’s Michael Strahan how it all started: “We went to a Chris Christie event and the event was over so he was walking down the street and I decided, why not get a selfie,” Emma Nozell said. “So I took it and Addy was like, ‘Why not get them with everyone?,’ and that’s how it started.”
They also said that their photos taken with Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump have garnered the most social media likes.
The only candidate missing is former Democratic candidate Jim Webb who escaped their grasp, after dropping out of the race before coming to New Hampshire. But they have communicated with him via Twitter, offering him pumpkin bread if he would come to New Hampshire to complete their collection, they said.
In a diplomatic turn, the sisters said they didn’t have a favorite candidate selfie, however, in December, ABC reported that the Nozell sisters have endorsed Hillary Clinton.
