MANCHESTER, NH – Mitt Romney will be the commencement speaker for Saint Anselm College, the Boston Globe reports.

Romney denies interest in a run for the White House in 2016, having recently announced he would not be seeking the Republican nomination – although the Globe’s James Pindell points out that Saint Anselm is home to the New Hampshire Institute of Politics, where Romney has participated in five past televised debates.

Romney will receive an honorary doctorate during the Sunday May 17 commencement, at 2 p.m.

Here’s the information about Romney’s engagement from the Saint Anselm website:

Saint Anselm College in Manchester, NH announced today that its 2015 commencement speaker will be Mitt Romney. Romney, the 2012 Republican presidential nominee, is a leader in both public service and private enterprise. He is a former governor of Massachusetts and the founder of Bain Capital.

“The life lessons and leadership skills Governor Romney will present to our graduates as they venture out into the world represent a set of values commensurate with that of Saint Anselm’s mission – to educate individuals who make and find opportunities to engage in the service of diverse local, national and global fields and communities,” said Dr. Steven R. DiSalvo, president of Saint Anselm. “There are few individuals who can stand before a group of young men and women with such a wide range of experiences and accomplishments, in both the public and private sectors.”
