Then you should head over to the 32nd annual NH Farm & Forest Expo, happening Feb. 6-7 at the Radisson Hotel, 700 Elm Street, in Manchester. Hours 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and  9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. Experts in all things farm and forest will abound, including chicken advice.

Touted as “New Hampshire’s Greatest Winter Fair,” the expo combines an industry trade Show with nearly 100 exhibitors, free educational workshops, unique NH Made products, the Kidzone (click for schedule of kids’ events), and some fuuzzy and furry animals.

NH Agriculture in the Classroom will again be coordinating a game of Farmo including a prizes. What better way to learn about forestry and agriculture in New Screen Shot 2015-02-04 at 6.57.01 AMHampshire then by meeting those who are the experts, right from our own backyard.

Admission price is $7 per person. Young people age 16 and younger admitted for free. Save $1 off the admission price by bringing two non-perishable food items to benefit the NH Food Bank.

Sponsors for the 2015 NH Farm & Forest Expo are the University of New Hampshire Cooperative Extension, the NH Division of Forests & Lands and the NH Department of Agriculture, Markets & Food.

As a non-profit organization, a volunteer board of directors representing agriculture and forestry interests statewide oversees the annual operation of the exposition.
