Jutras struggles against Nashua

MANCHESTER, N.H. – As Gill Stadium renovations continue, Memorial High School played host to Jutras Post’s junior team on Tuesday as they fell 14-1 to Nashua Post 124.

Nashua sent eight batters to the plate in the second, nine batters to the plate in the first and 13 in the third before the game concluded in the fifth.

Ethan Smith, Derek Finlay and James Bergin, Nashua’s first three batters in their lineup, each scored three runs over the first three innings.

Alexander Meesig, James Reel, Zachary Rioux, Noah Sekula and Brandon Metivier also came across the plate in the third.

Izzy Lopez scored the sole Jutras run, coming in the fifth.
