MANCHESTER, NH – The Manchester Monarchs and E & R Cleaners will be collecting donated coats for their annual “Teaming Up for Warmth Coat Drive” from December 13 through December 27, continuing their charitable partnership, which spans more than a decade.

“The Monarchs are excited to work on this community initiative with our great partner E & R Cleaners,” Monarchs President, Matt Welch, said. “Thank you to E & R Cleaners, the Manchester Holiday “Bauer Classic” Tournament and our generous fans for helping us provide those in need with warm clothing”

The coats will benefit families in need across New Hampshire. Last year the Monarchs and E & R Cleaners collected 400 coats to distribute.  This year, all donated coats will be brought to the Salvation Army, New Horizons and the Manchester Community Center.

“The E & R Family is happy to team up with the Monarchs to help give back to the community,” E & R President, Rick Botnick said. “Please help us provide warmth in this season of giving to those who need it most.”

Fans are asked to bring lightly worn or new jackets to various locations throughout Manchester and Bedford.  Points of collection for the drive are:

  • E & R Store Locations from Dec. 13–27
  • Manchester Holiday “Bauer Classic” Tournament on December 26 and 27, 12 – 6 p.m.
  • The Monarchs home game vs. Adirondack on Dec. 13 beginning at 3 p.m.
  • The Monarchs home game vs. Adirondack on Dec. 27 beginning at 3 p.m.

Fans who donate at E & R store locations and the 6th annual Holiday “Bauer Classic” Tournament at JFK Arena, will receive one free ticket voucher to a future Monarchs game.

E & R stores are located at 55 Central Street, in Manchester and the Bedford Village Shops on RT 101 in Bedford.
