Breaking: Fire crews called to fire on Notre Dame Avenue, behind West High School

Screen Shot 2017 05 12 at 11.18.09 AMMANCHESTER, NH – Police and fire personnel are responding to a reported fire in the area of 44 Notre Dame Ave, behind West High School.

The school is not in any danger, and students are safe, according to a school spokesperson.

Manchester Police Lt. Brian O’Keefe advises residents to steer clear of the area, and  also to expect that traffic will be an issue until the situation was cleared.

The fire was reported at 10:51 a.m. Fire officials declared the scene “under control” as of 11:32 a.m., which means the fire is no longer a threat to the building.

No other information was immediately available.
