Two charged in rash of car thefts from Elliot properties

Two charged in series of car thefts from Elliot Hospital.

MANCHESTER, NH – Officer Tyler Shaw was patrolling a “hot spot” area on December 18 at 8:20 p.m. when he observed a vehicle allegedly involved in multiple thefts at the Elliot Hospital and Rivers Edge. The 2011 Kia Sportage was parked on Pine Street, at High Street with three individuals inside

Officer Shaw recognized the vehicle based on a report generated the night before by Captain James Flanagan. Captain Flanagan advised the Kia may have been involved in a number of thefts from motor vehicles on December 17, 2014. All of the reported thefts occurred at Elliot Hospital properties.

Two of the three occupants in the vehicle were identified as: Brandon Brown, 27; and Sasha-Leigh Badger, 51, of Manchester. Brown and Badger were ultimately charged and taken into custody. A third person in the car was not charged and released from the scene.

Brown was charged with receiving stolen property and theft by unauthorized taking (result of separate incidents occurring on December 12 and December 13, both at Elliot properties) and Badger was charged with receiving stolen property and possession of a controlled drug (clonazapam). Both will be arraigned on December 19, 2014 at the 9th Circuit Court-Manchester.
