MANCHESTER, NH – It’s gratifying that this week’s top story is a feel-good story, brought to you by the Manchester School District. Normally it’s the chaos that gets people clicking.

But a story about West High School senior Desmond Powell, 17, was the most popular story of the week, and here’s why: Desmond was honored last week by the city for a random encounter he had that turned into a good deed of the highest order – one that may have made the difference between life and death for a distraught man.

Also among the Top 25 stories this week (based on clicks): How this unseasonably warm December may have repercussions, beyond delaying ski season; a peaceful interfaith demonstration in support of Manchester’s Muslim community; and a few stories about panhandlers, to name a few.

Take some time to click through the stories you might have missed. And if you like what you see, click here to sign up for our daily eNews and never miss another thing.
