CruiserMANCHESTER, NH – A man was stabbed in the neck Tuesday night by an unknown attacker on Spruce Street.

At 10:40 p.m. on Nov. 25 Manchester Police responded to Spruce and Union streets where a man, 26, was suffering from stab wounds to the neck. He was taken to Elliot Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The victim, whose name was not released by police, said he was attacked by a man who was unknown to him, who was accompanied by two other men. He told police they were driving in an older model Ford SUV, possibly green. The victim said the man who attacked him was a passenger in the SUV and did not get out of the SUV during the attack.

He told police his attacker was a white male, average height, slim build, with close-shaved hair and goatee. He believes the attacker was at least 26 years of age, or older.

Manchester Police detectives are investigating the stabbing and following leads, according to Sgt. Brian O’Keefe. He said more information may be released later Wednesday about the incident.
