MANCHESTER, NH – Police have zeroed in on a possible suspect in a purse-snatching incident that took place at a McDonald’s on Jan. 13, and are asking the public’s help in identifying her.
On Friday at about 1:25 p.m. someone snatched a purse belonging to woman, 82, who was at the McDonald’s on Second Street having lunch with her sister, 74. The women got up from their table to discard their trash and, in that short time, someone removed the purse from the chair where it had been placed.
Police are circulating the above photograph of a person of interest, pictured in a white jacket. The black-and-white purse contained the victim’s rent money, about $1,000, and her Social Security card, driver’s license and other items.
