MANCHESTER, NH – Miguelito Urena, 35, of 290 Auburn St., Manchester, was arrested at 12:15 a.m. on two outstanding bench warrants dating back to 2002 during a business check call at a local convenience store.

Officer Erik Slocum was conducting a check of the Cumberland Farms at 275 Hanover St., when he observed Urena acting suspiciously outside the business. Police say Urena was “skulking around and peering into the windows from outside.”

Urena continued to look around as if to see if anyone was watching him. He saw Officer Slocum and then walked away to the rear of the business. Officer Slocum believed Urena was casing the business to rob it. He made contact with Urena behind the business and after identifying him, it was learned Urena had two active warrants from 2002 for driving after suspension. Urena was released on $500 cash bail and is scheduled to appear in the 9th Circuit Court Manchester on May 22, 2017.
