MANCHESTER, NH – A city man is charged with injuring two police officers during his arrest following a domestic dispute at his Candia Road residence.

On April 22, 2017 at approximately 2:30 a.m., a 30-year-old woman came into the police department to report that she was threatened by her current boyfriend, Scott Kosterow, 46. Both reside at 1532 Candia Road.

Officers Rahill, Tennis and Makara responded to the address and after speaking with Kosterow he was taken into custody, charged with domestic criminal threatening. While attempting to escort him to the transport wagon, Kosterow became combative and began fighting with the officers. Kosterow allegedly head-butted Officer Rahill in the thigh in an attempt to prevent himself from being handcuffed. During the scuffle, Officer Makara sustained a minor injury to his knee. Kosterow continued to be non-compliant according to police after the transport and police had to carry him into the booking area.

Kosterow was additionally charged with resisting arrest and assault on a police officer. He is scheduled to be arraigned at the 9th Circuit Court Manchester on April 24, 2017.
