Goffstown man stopped for speeding on I-93 faces charges for possession of fentanyl

MANCHESTER, NH – On Saturday, April 22, 2017, at approximately 7:30 a.m. Trooper First Class S. Czyzowski of the New Hampshire State Police Troop B barracks in Bedford stopped a vehicle on Interstate 93 in Manchester for speeding and having defective equipment, a non-illuminated headlight.

Upon stopping the vehicle, Trooper Czyzowski identified the operator as Christian Browne, 30, of Goffstown. During the course of the motor vehicle stop, Trooper Czyzowski discovered that Browne had an outstanding warrant for his arrest and additionally, was in possession of the narcotic drug fentanyl, approximately ½ a “finger” (5 grams.)

Browne is facing a charge of possession of a narcotic drug and is scheduled to be arraigned in the Manchester Circuit Court on May 15, 2017.
