MANCHESTER, NH — April 6 is National Walking Day, which means you have a few weeks to organize your friends and co-workers, and participate in a downtown event, supported by the American Heart Association of NH.
At 11:30 a.m. everyone is invited to join in a 1-mile walk around the city of Manchester, as a way of getting healthier and raising awareness about the importance of being physically active.
On this day, millions of people throughout the country will come together to take steps toward living a healthier life for themselves, their families, and their communities.
Meet at Brady Sullivan Plaza, 1000 Elm Street, Manchester, for the walk. Participants are encouraged to snap & share photos from the walk on your social media pages by tagging them: #LaceUpNH.
