Alleged purse-snatcher took from friend after she gave him a ride

MANCHESTER, NH – Police arrested Nicholas Bijeol, 19, of 123 Wilson St., Apt. 1, Oct. 5 in connection with a  September purse-snatching incident.

At 5:15 p.m. on Sept. 16, 2016, Officer Eric Slocum responded to 123 Wilson Street where he spoke with a female crime victim who reported that she had provided a ride for her friend of two years, Bijeol. When the woman stopped in front of Bijeol’s house, Bijeol allegedly grabbed her purse and attempted to jump out of the car. The woman tried to stop Bijeol by grabbing him, to retain her purse, but Bijeol allegedly used force by pushing her away and fleeing. The investigation resulted in a warrant issued for Bijeol for one count robbery.

On Oct. 5 Bijeol was arrested on the outstanding warrant. He was scheduled to be arraigned October 6 in the 9th Circuit District Court in Manchester to answer to the charge.
