On April 27, 2015 at approx. 8:10 p.m. the Manchester Police Department responded to the area of 746 Hayward St. for a single vehicle crash. When police arrived on Hayward St. EMS was at the scene treating the driver, identified as Eureka Moosreiner, 36, of Manchester, for serious injuries. The vehicle had heavy front end damage and was resting against a trailer that was parked along the north side of Hayward Street

Preliminary investigation indicates Moosreiner’s car, a 2011 Honda Accord, was traveling westbound on Hayward Street before leaving the roadway and striking a fire hydrant. Her vehicle continued westbound for another 30 feet before colliding with the rear of a wood chipper that was attached to a pickup truck parked along the north side of Hayward Street.

Moosreiner was transported to the Elliot Hospital. She was the only occupant in the vehicle. Speed was a contributing factor in the crash, police said.

The crash remains under investigation by the Manchester Police Traffic Unit Collision Reconstruction and Analysis Team. Anyone with information regarding this crash is asked to contact the Manchester Police Department at 603-668-8711.
