CONCORD, NH — NH State police have arrested a juvenile in connection with an early-morning robbery Saturday at the Hooksett Tolls rest stop.

On January 30 at about 12:12 a.m., an armed robbery occurred at the Common Man General Store located at the southbound rest area off I-93 in Hooksett. A white male believed to be in his late teens to early 20s brandished a handgun and demanded cash. After the robbery, the robber walked out of the store and fled on foot.

He was ultimately entered into the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) as a missing juvenile by the Bow Police Department.

At approximately 11:45 a.m., New Hampshire State Police Troop-F was requested to respond towards the northern Vermont/New Hampshire border. Troopers were advised that Vermont State Police Troopers were involved in an active pursuit northbound Interstate 91 heading towards St. Johnsbury, VT, with a Ryder Rental Van registered in New Hampshire. After a 30-mile pursuit, Vermont State Police Troopers were able to take the driver into custody without injury after he lost control of the van.

Further investigation revealed the van was stolen from a business in Bow earlier in the day. Anyone with information is urged to contact Trooper Megan Walsh at 603-271-1162.
