
MANCHESTER, NH – Manchester Police responded to a robbery at Rite Aid, 1631 Elm St., at approximately 5 a.m. on Nov. 29. Officers arrived on scene and spoke with the 23-year-old clerk, who was the victim.
According to the clerk, the robber placed a bag of peanuts on the counter and handed her a $20 bill. She opened the cash register drawer to ring in the item when the assailant demanded she hand over the cash from the drawer. The robber never displayed a weapon, but kept one hand in his pocket which caused alarm to the clerk. She conceded by handing an undisclosed amount of money to him before he exited the store.
The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 30 years of age, with moles or scars on the left side of his face. He was last seen wearing a gray jacket with a black winter hat, blue jeans and white sneakers.
