Police surround home at Grove and Union in fruitless search for wanted man

MANCHESTER, NH – Just after 2 p.m. on Sept. 14 Manchester Police advised of a police presence in the area of Union and Grove streets involving SWAT. Sgt. Michael Biron said there was no immediate threat to the public, but that no other information was available at that time.

At 3:46 Sgt. Biron issued an update, stating that officers were looking for a wanted subject possibly staying at a residence in the area of Grove Street and Union Street. A check of that residence determined the subject was not present.

No other information was released by police about why the man is wanted.
