Monarchs’ Crescenzi benched for ‘kneeing’ incident

MANCHESTER, NH — The American Hockey League today announced that Manchester Monarchs center Andrew Crescenzi has been suspended for two (2) games as a consequence of a kneeing incident in a game at Providence on Feb. 6.

Crescenzi was suspended under the provisions of AHL Rule 28.1 (supplementary discipline).

Crescenzi will miss Manchester’s games Friday (Feb. 13) vs. Springfield and Saturday (Feb. 14) vs. Bridgeport.


In other AHL news: The American Hockey League today announced that Rockford IceHogs center Cody Bass has been suspended for two (2) games as a consequence of his actions in a game at Milwaukee on Feb. 6.

Bass was suspended under the provisions of AHL Rule 28.1 (supplementary discipline).  Bass will miss Rockford’s games Friday (Feb. 13) at Milwaukee and Saturday (Feb. 14) vs. Oklahoma City.
