Man wanted for baseball bat attack turns self in

MANCHESTER, NH – A man wanted by police in connection with a July 29 assault with a baseball bat of three Manchester residents has turned himself in.

Robert Russell, 30, of 10 Canterbury Way, Merrimack, turned himself in at police headquarters late Aug. 2. Russell was wanted in connection with an attack of three people,  including a 16-year old male and two adults, on the rear porch of 274 West Hancock St.

Manchester Police Detectives followed up on the assault and completed warrants for Russell. He was charged with three counts first-degree assault. He will appear in the 9th Circuit Court-Manchester on August 3, 2016.
