MANCHESTER, NH – The Manchester Police Juvenile Unit launched a sexual assault investigation as soon as hospital staff notified detectives on November 22, 2017 of a potential case. Allegations made by a 10-year-old victim resulted in an investigation, detailed below.

Detectives Brian Attardo and Nick Georgoulis immediately began working on the case and were granted an arrest warrant on Friday December 1, 2017 for James Paulino, 33, of Manchester. Paulino was taken into custody at US Tool Group, 1207 Hanover St., at approximately 1:45 p.m. after the arrest warrant was signed.

Investigators believe Paulino had sexually assaulted the 10 year-old female multiple times over a period of several years, so he was charged with pattern aggravated felonious sexual assault.

Paulino was transported to police headquarters and is scheduled to appear in Hillsborough County Superior Court-North on December 4, 2017.
