Hockey for Hope dinner June 12 to support recovery services

MANCHESTER, NH – The Monarchs Care Foundation, the charitable arm of the ECHL’s Manchester Monarchs, will hold its inaugural Hockey for HOPE Dinner, presented by Werner Mazda, on Sunday, June 12, 2016, at the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester, NH, to benefit HOPE for NH Recovery.

Screen Shot 2016-04-21 at 5.51.25 PMThe Hockey for HOPE Dinner will be a memorable night of mingling with current and former NHL players, Manchester Monarchs alumni, as well as other well-known hockey personalities, all to benefit the important work of HOPE for NH Recovery.

Proceeds from this event will go toward addressing the opioid epidemic, a rapidly increasing public health crisis prevalent in the state of New Hampshire.

Recovery for people dealing with Substance Use Disorder is one of the major issues facing our country.  HOPE for NH Recovery’s mission is to support addiction recovery across communities in New Hampshire with the main objective of helping the NH recovery community to become a powerful voice in increasing the prevalence and quality of long term recovery.

The schedule of events for the inaugural Hockey for HOPE Dinner is as follows (June 12, 2016):

  • 5 –  6:45 p.m. – Mingle, Autographs & Dinner
  • 6:45 – 8 p.m. – Program featuring Keynote Speaker, member of the NHL’s Toronto Maple Leafs Organization and former Manchester Monarch, Rich Clune
  • Silent Auction throughout the entire evening

If you would like to attend this event, please register online at www.manchestermonarchs.com and visit the community tab.  Register a table of 10 for $1,250 for best seating location available at the time of registration.  Individual tickets can also be purchased for $90 each, with a maximum of five (5) tickets at the time of purchase, and are limited.  More information can be found at www.manchestermonarchs.com.  This event is open to children, at parental discretion keeping in mind the subject matter during the program portion of the event.  SPACE IS LIMITED.  Registration is on a first come, first serve basis.
