imageMANCHESTER, NH – Manchester Police responded to a second-degree assault at McGarvey’s, 1097 Elm St., just after midnight on July 12. Police say a group of women engaged in an altercation which left one woman injured. Detective Justin Mangum was able to pull several surveillance videos in an attempt to help identify the two possible suspects.

The victim, a 40-year-old Massachusetts woman, was allegedly assaulted by two unknown females. The victim stated one of the women struck her in the face with a glass or beer bottle, which ultimately caused a laceration to her eye. She was required to seek medical treatment at the Elliot Hospital immediately following the allegedly unprovoked attack due to the extent of her non-life threatening injury.

The two potential suspects are described as: a heavy-set white female who was wearing a light colored tank top; a short, slender Hispanic female with light colored hair. Both women are believed to be involved in the attack, so if you recognize one or both of these women, please notify Detective Mangum at 792-5500. If you wish to remain anonymous, please contact the Manchester Police Crimeline at 603-624-4040. If your crime tip leads to the identification, arrest and conviction of one or both woman, then you may be eligible for a cash reward.
