MANCHESTER, NH – Manchester Police were called to Dunkin Donuts, 981 Beech St., at 2:45 a.m. Jan. 26 for an attempted robbery. Officer William Dann spoke with the clerk who told police a man entered the store, ordered several items, and then told her to open the register. He allegedly stated he needed drug money.
The clerk refused to empty her cash register, so the would-be robber jumped over the counter and forcefully attempted to open the register. He failed to open the register and fled the store without cash.
Although he stated he had a knife, no weapon was shown during the robbery attempt.
He is described as a white male, approximately 5-foot-10 inches tall, thin build and “dirty-blond” hair. He was last seen wearing a full body camouflage Carhartt coverall, black Adidas running pants, white sneakers, black winter beanie style hat and a white scarf partially covering his face.
