Aldermanic committee recommends conclusion of compensation study

Over 80 meetings, hearings and other events have also been held with city employees to create an overarching analysis. While that analysis is largely complete, Drabik said that she would need until at least the end of the next fiscal year (June 30, 2025), if not longer, to create a set of recommendations on any possible improvements to the compensation and hierarchical structure for those over 400 different types of city employees. Drabik also noted that comparable studies of this type take approximately 18 months to complete and this one began in August 2023. READ MORE

The “other Pat Long” announces state rep campaign

Attorney Patrick Long, who regular Ink Link readers will remember is no relation to the Ward 3 State Representative or the cat by the same name, today announced his candidacy for one of two ward-level seats for Ward 7 State Representative. He has already been endorsed by State Representatives Mary Heath and Mary Freitas. Long has not yet secured the endorsement of the cat. Heath stated she is pleased to support Long because he cares about people and will work hard for the residents of Ward 7 and the people of Manchester. READ MORE

She sought an ally; now, LGBTQ advocate says barber’s actions led to harassment, doxxing

The day of the incident Prunier anonymously posted his account of what happened on the private Goffstown The Real Deal Facebook page.  He then posted   “No Trespassing” orders he sent to five women banning them from his shop.  They included Harbus, Select board member Kelly Boyer, her wife Pam Boyer, Jillian Bernat, admin of the Goffstown The Real Real Deal Facebook page, and Jillian Pelletier.    The women’s addresses were listed.
