Let there be fish! Stocking trucks are rolling with 1 million catchable-size trout

With the welcome arrival of spring, NH Fish and Game Inland Fisheries Chief Jason Smith can’t help but get excited about open water angling, especially trout fishing. Fish culturists at New Hampshire’s six state trout hatcheries have been holding on, waiting for Mother Nature to provide conditions favorable for spring stocking. The good news is that stocking trucks are now rolling! New Hampshire hatcheries have close to one million catchable-size trout ready for this season. Goffstown women’s prison launches braille transcription job skills program

The New Hampshire Department of Corrections and the New Hampshire Department of Education jointly announced that a Braille Transcription program began at the New Hampshire Correctional Facility for Women in Goffstown. The women incarcerated at that facility are transcribing textbooks to braille as part of a New Hampshire Correctional Industries job skills development program. READ MORE
