2 injured in ‘big street fight’ but nobody’s talking

CruiserMANCHESTER, NH — Two men were injured in a “large street fight” involving a knife in the early hours of Jan. 21, although neither is cooperating with police.

Manchester Police Officer Brian Fleming responded to the area of 358 Bartlett St. for a report of a large street fight, which happened at about 2:40 a.m. and involved multiple uncooperative individuals.

Officers located two men in the area, both with injuries. A 40-year old man sustained a non-life threatening stab wound near his midsection and a second man, 28, sustained minor facial injuries, including a bloody nose. The 28-year old man refused to provide information to the officers at the scene.

The 40-year-old man was transported to an area hospital for his stab wound while the second subject refused medical treatment. Both men were described by police as uncooperative. 

An investigation is ongoing into the details leading up to the stabbing, police said.
