CONCORD, NH – On December 3, Governor Maggie Hassan and the Executive Council unanimously confirmed Victoria Cimino as the new Director of the Division of Travel and Tourism Development (DTTD). As Director, she’ll guide DTTD in its mission of developing and promoting New Hampshire as a domestic and international travel destination to increase visitation, business activity and employment throughout the state. Cimino officially started her new role December 8.

“We are thrilled to have Vicki join our team,” said NH Department of Resources and Economic Development (DRED) Commissioner Jeff Rose. “She brings a wealth of experience in marketing tourism campaigns at the local, state, national and international level.  Under Vicki’s leadership I’m confident Travel and Tourism will only continue to expand New Hampshire’s reputation as a popular year round vacation destination.”

Cimino has more than 13 years of experience providing communications solutions, counsel and creative direction to both government agencies and private sector organizations. She has served as Communications Manager for the New Hampshire Division of Travel and Tourism, Communications Director for the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce, and Director of International Marketing for the Massachusetts Office of Travel and Tourism.  Her background also includes work with New York City-based Redpoint Marketing PR, Inc. and Boston-based Connelly Partners.  Cimino received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from Keene State College.

“It is an honor to serve the state in this role,” said Cimino. “Tourism is an incredibly important sector of New Hampshire’s economy and I look forward to supporting the Governor’s goal of increasing tourism expenditures throughout the state.”
