MANCHESTER, NH – Manchester Police responded to a man down call at 6:50 a.m. on April 14 at the intersection of Somerville and Taylor streets. The officer located a 34 year-old man who was being treated by Manchester Fire and AMR personnel.

The man had sustained what appeared to be serious head and facial injuries. He was transported to the Elliot Hospital for treatment.

Manchester Traffic Investigators spoke with Justin Castillo, 29, of Manchester, at approximately 8 a.m. after returning to the scene. Officers determined he accidentally struck the man with his 2006 Toyota Camry, but fled the scene. He was charged with conduct after an accident (felony) for leaving the scene of the crash. He was arrested a short time later.
