Car crashes into house on Boynton Street, bursts into flames

MANCHESTER, NH – Manchester Police say an intoxicated man lost control of his vehicle around 12:20 a.m. on April 27 and struck a Boynton Street home, after which the car burst into flames. The driver, Ryan LeBlanc, 19, of Manchester, was arrested and charged with aggravated operating under the influence of liquor.

Officers were called to 256 Boynton St. for a single vehicle crash which caused the 2018 Kia to catch fire after it struck the side of a residence. The 82 year-old homeowner was watching television at the time of the incident, however she was not injured.

The vehicle sustained heavy damage and was towed from the scene. The house also had substantial damage to the foundation and stairs. LeBlanc was arrested without incident and medically cleared after he was seen at an area hospital.

Officers on scene determined the LeBlanc was intoxicated so he was charged accordingly. He was released on $1,000 bail and is scheduled to appear in the 9th Circuit Court-Manchester on May 11, 2018.
