MANCHESTER, NH – Officer Cheryl Trudeau responded to 235 Agnes Street at 1:10 a.m. on January 21 for an unwanted subject inside of apartment #105. Upon arrival, she spoke with the son of the apartment owner who was currently not home. The son stated his mother was concerned her former caretaker, George Beaton, 49, of Manchester, may try to enter the apartment because he knew she would not be there.

The officer observed an open, broken porch door with shattered glass as she entered the apartment. Once inside, she located an open pill container next to the television. Mr. Beaton appeared to be passed out on the bed with multiple pills next to him when Officer Trudeau woke him up. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to police headquarters.

He will appear in the 9th Circuit Court-Manchester on January 23, 2017.
