MANCHESTER, NH —  Companies arrived at 221 Wilson St. just before 5 p.m. in response to a report of a heavy chemical odor coming from a second-floor apartment. Upon investigation, the source was found to be a chemical sealant that was sprayed on the living room floor. One woman from the third floor was transported to the Elliot Hospital for a check up.

The building was monitored and ventilated until there were no hazards present.

Upon further investigation the apartment was found to be littered with animal feces and urine.

In total, 10 dogs and six cats were removed from the apartment by Manchester Animal Control Officer. The Health Department was called and the apartment was deemed uninhabitable until it’s cleaned.
