MANCHESTER, NH – On September 5, 2018 at approximately 11:45 p.m. Troopers from the New Hampshire State Police Troop B Barracks in Bedford and Manchester Fire and Medical Personnel responded to a head-on motor vehicle crash involving a wrong-way driver on Interstate 93 North at Exit 6. Upon arrival Troopers determined that Amy Krzyzaniak, 39, of Manchester  was driving her 2008 Toyota Corolla the wrong-way up the I-93 North Exit 6 off-ramp from Candia Road. As Krzyzaniak attempted to make a U-turn on the highway her vehicle struck a 2017 Toyota Corolla being operated by Kalli Daggett, 24, of  Manchester.

Krzyzaniak indicated to Troopers that the reason she was driving the wrong-way up the ramp was because she was “following her GPS.” Both operators sustained only minor injuries. Krzyzaniak was transported to the Catholic Medical Center and Daggett was transported to the Elliot Hospital. I-93 north in the area of Exit 6 was reduced to one lane for approximately one hour while the scene was cleared up.

The collision is currently under investigation and anyone with information pertaining to this incident is urged to contact Trooper Wong-Wagner at Stefan.Wong-Wagner@dos.nh.gov.
