We must start at the source of the problem and solve the need with a plan of action that gives us the results we desire. This effort requires an “all hands on deck” effort and the major players must be all in. READ MORE
The revenue from the gaming bill would help reduce property taxes, provide for a way to deal with problem gaming and give the state much needed revenue. The jobs created would be good for New Hampshire and the will of the public would be answered. READ MORE
New Hampshire currently requires that students take a half-credit course in United States and New Hampshire government and civics. Our students are not learning the fundamentals and this poses great risk to our democracy. Senate Bill 45 will require a uniform framework for civics courses that includes the duties and responsibilities of citizenship, the constitutional basis of government, and local government affairs.
