Balance Physical Therapy, a leading provider of physical therapy and rehabilitative services in southern New Hampshire, announces the grand opening of their second location March 2.
Located at 542 Mast Road, Unit 4 in the heart of Goffstown, the new office will offer almost all of the services previously offered in the Windham office, including orthopaedic manual therapy, sports medicine, injury prevention, strength training, sports performance training, neurological rehabilitation, neck and back rehabilitation, post-operative care, balance reeducation/rehabilitation, trigger point dry needling, and instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM).
Chris Pierce, co-owner and co-founder of Balance Physical Therapy, will be the practicing physical therapist at the Goffstown location. Pierce earned his master’s degree in physical therapy and has completed a residency in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy from the Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy, an affiliate of Mass General and Boston University. He is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and is currently working on his certification in trigger point dry needling.
“The one-on-one interaction with patients is what I enjoy — getting to know someone and helping them relieve their pain and improve their physical ability,” said Pierce, regarding his work at Balance and the new location. “I’m really excited to be a part of the Goffstown community, the community that my children will go to school in. I’m excited to provide services there and be closer to my hometown of New Boston.”
The other owner and founder of Balance — Peter Olson—also holds a Masters in Physical Therapy and is thrilled about Balance’s opportunity to reach a wider patient base. Olson states
“We think we are good at what we do and we do it in ways that are more effective than most therapists, and we want to bring that to as many people as we can.”
