MANCHESTER, NH – Two local companies are partnering with Operation Care for Troops (formerly known as MooreMart) to gather items to donate this holiday season.

This is a great community event for civic, school or church groups, businesses and individuals.

Optics 1 and Vectronix Inc. are looking for the following items which can be dropped off on October 31 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. in the lobby at 2 Cooper Lane in Bedford (on the hill above the Copper Door Restaurant):

  • White Athletic Socks
  • Toothbrushes, Dental Floss and Small to Medium Tubes of Toothpaste
  • Small Packages of Beef Jerky
  • Power Bars
  • Ramen Noodles – packages (please no cups)
  • Oatmeal – Individual Packages
  • Hot Cocoa – Individual Packages
  • Tuna Pouches
  • Nuts/Trail Mix – Individual or Smaller Packages
  • Girl Scout Cookies
  • Playing Cards
  • Handwritten Thank You Cards/Holiday Notes

Donations will be brought to the Operation Care for Troops center in Nashua for their Holiday Packing Events in early November and forwarded to our troops worldwide for the Holiday Season.
