Deck collapses in Nashua, 6 transported for minor injuries

NASHUA, NH – Nashua fire department responded to 8 Robinson Court just before 8 p.m. for a reported collapsed deck with multiple people injured.

According to fire officials, a group of about 20 people were attending a party on the second floor of the residence when the deck collapsed. Several teenagers attending the party fell to the first floor while others held on waiting assistance. Several ambulances were called due to the number of injured.

According to Nashua  Deputy Fire Chief Kevin Kerrigan,  six people were transported from the scene to Southern NH Medical Center with minor lower extremity injuries.

Ambulances and apparatus lined the busy Bridge Street, triaging patients, while many parents showed up at the scene. and decided to take their own children for medical care.

The incident is under investigation by the Nashua Building and Code Enforcement offices
