MANCHESTER, NH — Jorge Saez went 3-for-4 with two doubles and four RBI and the Fisher Cats snapped a three-game losing streak with a 7-2 win over Hartford on April 19 at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium.

The biggest of the hits for Saez came in the bottom of the fourth, when the Fisher Cats scored five times. Saez ripped a three-run double off reliever Konner Wade to put New Hampshire up 6-1.

Luis Santos (1-0) picked up his first win at the Double-A level in his second start, working six innings for the Fisher Cats (5-6). Santos allowed two runs, one earned. He walked two and struck out five. John Stilson added two innings of scoreless, hitless relief and Chris Smith finished up the win.

The Fisher Cats took advantage of two Hartford errors to score the first two runs of the game. KC Hobson reached on an error, moved to second on a groundout and scored on an error after an infield single by Ian Parmley. Saez drilled an RBI double for a 2-0 lead.

Hartford (9-4) took advantage of a New Hampshire miscue in the top of the next inning. David Dahl reached on an error and Pat Valaika followed with a double to cut the Fisher Cats lead to 2-1 in the top of the third inning.

New Hampshire sent eight men to the plate in the fourth inning, chasing Hartford starter and loser Carlos Hernandez (1-1). Matt Dean had an RBI single and Saez scored from the third as Shane Opitz was caught trying to steal.
