MANCHESTER, NH – Ed Sapienza claims he’s not a ringer. But Sapienza, who happens to be running for Ward 8 Alderman, also casually mentioned that he has a few songs lined up for the first ever (that we know of) Candidate Karaoke Night, set for Oct. 16 at Spare Time Bar and Grill.

We think he’s been practicing.

Sapienza and his buddy, DJ Dave Martinez, came up with the idea to issue the challenge to “everyone on the Nov. 3 ballot” to “come out and show the world your pipes.”

It’s all about fun, says Sapienza. You can listen to his pitch in the above video, and plan to stop by – even if you’re not on the ballot, spectators are encouraged. You can join the Facebook invitation here. Action starts at 8 p.m.

Spare Time Bar & Grill is located at 216 Maple Street.
