MentalHealthFirstAid Logo wR HORIZMANCHESTER, NH – The Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester (MHCGM) is planning to expand the number of Mental Health First Aid courses offered to the public and is seeking organizations, agencies, schools or groups who would be interested in hosting a course.  Three curriculums are currently offered which include Mental Health First Aid for; the Adult, Youth, or Higher Education. Beginning August 1, The Mental Health Center will also offer Mental Health First Aid for Veterans.

Mental Health First Aid courses are intended for anyone who would like to learn more about mental illness risk factors, warning signs, and symptoms, as well as ways to help someone experiencing a mental health crisis. The 8-hour program is highly recommended for anyone that works in social services, healthcare, schools, or with the general public.
