MANCHESTER, NH – Investigators are awaiting the results of an autopsy on a dead body recovered from a city baseball park on Sunday before releasing the victim’s identity, or cause of death.

On Monday NH Senior Assistant Attorney General Peter Hinckley said any information about the identity of the man or cause of his death would follow the autopsy, scheduled for Aug. 30.

“Right now we don’t have a lot of information to release. We’re still in the process of informing family members,” Hinckley said Monday morning. Hinckley said Tuesday was the earliest the autopsy could be scheduled.

Hinckley would only confirm that the person found dead at the ball field was an adult male.
