The opening reception to kick off fused glass artist Verne Orlosk’s latest work was Oct. 4 from 5-8 p.m. at the StudioVerne gallery, 81 Hanover Street in Manchester.

The exhibit will feature her “Fall Footsteps” collection of fused glass leaves, and runs until November 1.

In addition to her own original art, Orlosk takes commissioned projects and offers hands-on two-hour fused glass workshops. Visit the StudioVerne website for more information. 

The NH High Tech Council wants to remind you there is still time to get your ticket for next Wednesday’s NH High Tech Council Product of the Year event.

It’s no secret the tech industry is a major player in bringing the new businesses and innovations that are revitalizing New Hampshire’s economy.  The annual Product of the Year event is a major event on the local tech scene and this is your opportunity to rub elbows with tomorrow’s movers and shakers.

This year’s event will be on October 10, from 5:30- 7:30 p.m. at the Manchester Country Club, 180 S. River Road in Bedford.  The cost for tickets is $50/members, $75/non-members, $25/students.  Please visit the NH High Tech Council website for more information.
