Autopsy results confirm homicide in West Side shooting

MANCHESTER, NH – New Hampshire Attorney General Joseph A. Foster and Manchester Police Chief Enoch F. Willard announce that the Manchester Police Department and the Attorney General’s Office continue to investigate the shooting death of Michael Pittman on November 3, 2015, at 472 Granite St.

An autopsy conducted by the Deputy Chief Medical Examiner, Dr. Jennie Duval determined that Mr. Pittman’s cause of death was a gunshot wound to the torso and his manner of death was a homicide.

As was noted previously, this homicide does not appear to be random based on the information gathered to date. Nonetheless, until the perpetrator(s) is apprehended the public is reminded to remain vigilant.
