UPDATE 10 p.m.: A teen reported missing from a Ringe boarding school was found safe by NH Fish & Game search crew.

A New England K9 Search & Rescue team located Julian Hofstetter, 16, on a small island on Island Pond in Rindge. Jeremy Corson was searching an area north of Island Pond when his search-dog  partner Jackson swam 370 feet out to the small island and alerted. Jackson swam back and forth two times alerting Corson. Two Conservation Officers paddled out to the island to find the teen alive and well.

CONCORD, NH – NH Fish and Game Department’s Law Enforcement Division and the Rindge, NH, Police are seeking information from the public on the whereabouts of a missing teenager.

Julian Hofstetter, 16, has been missing from the Hampshire Country School boarding since approximately 8 p.m. on November 4.  The school is located off Hampshire Road between Routes 119 and 124 in Rindge, NH.  Hofstetter’s home town is Newark, Delaware.

Hofstetter is 6 feet tall, weighs 200 pounds, and has brown hair.  He was last seen on foot wearing a blue coat.  Anyone seeing a teenage boy matching Julian’s description is asked to call (603) 271-3361 or (603) 271-3127.
