Rescuers revive 6-year-old with Narcan, police investigating as possible heroin overdose

MANCHESTER, NH – Manchester Police responded to a Conant Street apartment at 6 a.m. on July 18, 2017 for an unresponsive child. They spoke with AMR personnel about the 6-year old boy who was unresponsive upon their arrival. Medical personnel administered an opiate antagonist to revive the young child, who was stabilized and transported to a local hospital.

He has since been placed in the care of a family member, but remains hospitalized. There is no additional information  at this time as juvenile detectives continue to investigate the incident.
