The homeowner told police two masked men armed with guns had entered his home minutes before he arrived home from work. The homeowner’s two children were home at the time of the incident, but were not injured.

The burglars allegedly ransacked the home but fled on foot as the homeowner arrived home. The homeowner chased after the two men, and one of them fired at the homeowner at least once as he continued running toward Candia Road. The homeowner was not injured.

The two intruders escaped the homeowner’s view prior to police arrival.

One suspect was described as a black male and the other suspect had a lighter complexion, possibly Hispanic. Both men had masks on, so no further descriptors are available at this time.

The investigation is ongoing.
