CONCORD, NH – After a record turnout in 2021, the New Hampshire Animal Rights League’s turkey-free Thanksgiving celebration is expected to once again sell out. “We’re thrilled to be able to offer our members and the public a delicious meal that does not involve harming animals,” says James Glover, president of the organization.

The event will take place on Sunday, November 6, at the McLane Center, 84 Silk Farm Road, Concord, from 11:30 to 3:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at nhanimalrights.org. No tickets will be sold at the door.

Catering will be provided by The Green Beautiful Café, a vegan restaurant and meal prep service based in Manchester. Chefs Olivia and Madeline will be preparing a cruelty-free vegan Italian Thanksgiving buffet featuring two entrees, Stuffed Shells and Baked Mac and Cheese; four sides, Roasted Garlic Mushrooms, Baked Zucchini, Classic Caesar Salad, and Garlic Bread; and an assortment of desserts, including Cake and Cannoli.

The NH Animal Rights League will welcome guest speaker Chris Schadler, a conservation biologist with Project Coyote, whose presentation, Becoming Wolf: Eastern Coyotes in New Hampshire, dispels the myths that surround coyotes while sharing the true story of how they contribute to keep our forests and fields healthy.

This presentation will be followed by a year-end review of NH Animal Rights League’s work, presented by President James Glover and Vice President Elisa O’Neill.

Many local businesses have donated items, from centerpieces to sweets, to support the NH Animal Rights League and make the event a success.

The New Hampshire Animal Rights League (NHARL) was founded in 1977 with the mission to work for fair treatment of all animals, in New Hampshire and beyond. NHARL is a non-profit, public charity, funded solely by donations, grants, and membership dues. Staff is made up entirely of unpaid volunteers.

NHARL can be reached at P.O. Box 4211, Concord, NH 03302 or nhanimalrights.org.
