MANCHESTER, NH – Anna is a Torbie (tortoise shell tabby) and is about three years old. She is described as “very sweet and loves ear rubs and head scratches” by her current friends at the Manchester Animal Shelter, where she is waiting for her forever home.

 More about Anna:

She is a bit shy at first, but she enjoys affection too much to be a total wallflower and will come looking for love but only at night. Noise and commotion frighten her, so a quiet, relaxed home with no small children will be best for her.

As for Anna’s ideal home: She will need a patient family that will give her all the time she needs separated. Once she is feeling comfortable and not stressed she can be slowly introduced to other animals. Dogs: She will do ok if they are super laid back, not interested in her – no chasing or hyper dogs. As for cats, Anna is quite the dominant cat. She was tested with Sarg (who loves other cats) and he really wanted to be friends, but he made it clear that he needed to keep his distance and he was very respective of the boundaries she put forth. Anna shouldn’t go to a home with any dominant animals, none that will challenge her. Submissive cats won’t be a good idea either as Anna may take advantage. Anna really is just a little doll and she deserves a wonderful home! She has been with us for far too long. Please come in and meet her!
